London tommorow!

Hi! Do you still remember me?
Sorry my last post has been over a month ago but I have been crazy busy with my exams and planning everything for London and... the United States. Yes, I am going to Washington D.C. and New York! I finished my exams the 22th of may and everyone keeps asking how did they go but to be honest: I have no clue!
Since my exams I have been busy with lots of things, I turned nineteen  (yes nine-teen, 19!) and I have also been planning my first trip to London which is....tommorow.

On the 26th of may I turned nineteen. I went to Bagels & Beans twice that day, haha! But I also went to a concert: Lorde @  Tivoli Vredenburg. I went there with Raya! I haven't really celebrated my birthday that much but I still got some presents. Veerle sent me a package from the United States which came in right before my birthday. I got a lot of cute stuff so thank you for that Veerle! My mom also bought me a weekend bag with the american flag on it which is very convenient for my flight tommorow, I love it! The past week I also had some meetups with friends and a barbecue in the park and one at someone's house.

Tommorow I will be flying to London to meet the family. I will be staying there from wednesday to friday. I am very excited (and nervous) to meet them! I am already taking some things with me which means that I already started packing. Packing is really hard! I have to decide what I am leaving there, so I already have to know what I want to be wearing the next few weeks. After friday I will be staying in London with Sofie until tuesday to see One Direction!
Unfortunately I have a cold right now, so I have been coughing and sneezing all day. I hope it will get better because I have been sick for the past week now, which wasn't convenient because I had work from thursday to sunday at the railroad museum. It was fun though, but it would have been better if I wasn't sick because now I feel like I wasn't doing such a good job.
On a brighter note... I am going to the United States!

I am going to visit my friend Veerle and I will be flying on the 28th of June (the day after I am supposed to be graduated *fingers crossed*). We are going to New York on the 5th of July until the 9th and we just booked the bus tickets to go there. From the 28th of June until the 5th I will be staying with Veerle and her host family: which means I will be in Washington D.C. on the 4th of July! I am very excited to go there and can't wait to see Veerle.

For now I am going to continue packing and watch some Pretty Little Liars because I feel pretty sick.
I know this all sounds very crazy and I am very excited.

Will keep you updated!
-Alana
