Brighten up your day (week 14)

Monday again! 

After a long weekend with Sofie I was quite tired so this week I decided to relax a lot in my free time.This week was good since I might have an extra job and I had a really good weekend. 

I had to babysit twice for a different family and apart from that I just had to do my normal au pair things. 

Tuesday started with a very good breakfast (with of course my Starbucks Utrecht mug which I can't live without, haha). On wednesday I went to the park with Marmite (my hostdog) and there I met up with another dogwalker, she told me that she got a new job: after that she asked me if I would be interested in becoming the new dogwalker so tonight I am going to meet up with her and the dogowner to see if we can figure something out, meaning: I might have an extra job!)

I don't think I ever showed pictures of the park I live nearby. This is the park I walk the dog almost everyday. The park looks lovely when the sun is out so I am hoping we will have some more sunny days here (it is raining now, boo...) 

On Saturday I met up with Ana, I wanted to go to Violet which is a lovely cake/café-shop unfortunately it was raining and the café was too full so we decided to walk to broadway market. We got some lunch (...cake) and we took the bus into the city. We went to covent garden and I bought some cute stationery and we sat down in a park and had some hot chocolate. It was really nice seeing her again. I had to go home because my hostparents were having a dinner party and one of my hostkids was having a sleepover. When I got home I had some 'tea' (dinner) and after that I spent most of the time in my room and going up to the boys room telling them to go to sleep, luckily they listened to me, haha.

I fell asleep really quickly after that and the next morning I woke up around 9 > I had a really slow morning and finally I decided to post something in the Dutch au pair group. Mirjam, Céline, Claudia and Lois were going to the Atomica Gallery where they have "Miniature Ink" up until the 15th of october ("featuring miniature original artworks from over 100 of the most talented tattoo artists from across the globe"). I am really glad that I got to see this because I wouldn't have known about this without them. After that we walked around a little bit and I decided to join Mirjam and Celine who were going to the movie "the maze runner". After the movie I took the tube home, went to bed and now it's monday again!

Sorry if this blogpost is a bit boring! This week I have to babysit all weekend and next week I have to work all day on monday, tuesday and wednesday but on thursday evening... my parents are arriving!
I can't wait to see them!
