Pretty skies in the bus home.
The next week I had to work all day on Tuesday and Wednesday. Sari (the girl) went to her grandma so Linus (the boy) had a friend over. We went swimming one of the days and after that we had fish and chips.
I was free on Thursday so I met up with Maudi and we went to loafing one of my favourite spots (I wish I could go there every day!). We also went to the breakfast club, it is always lovely seeing Maudi!
After that: family time! My parents arrived on Thursday. On Friday we had dinner and we chatted and on Friday we had breakfast in the deli downstairs wich is a nice café (I had a really nice yoghurt).
We went to Brighton on Saturday and my parents got to meet my hostparents and kids on Sunday. On the last day we had breakfast in victoria park and I went with them to stratford to drop them off. Not a lot of details about their visit but I had such a lovely time! I was a bit sad to say goodbye to them again but hey, I booked my Christmas flights yesterday so I will be coming home on December 19th (just in time for my dad's birthday)!
On Friday I celebrated Halloween with my hostfamily and their friends. I carved a pumpkin and there were about 11 kids in the house. They took me with them trick or treating which was so much fun because I never really celebrated Halloween like that.
On Saturday I went shopping and I spent some time writing cards in the city.
On Sunday I went to a cooking class where I learned how to make granola, a flapjack, a supersmoothie and another snack. It was at made in hackney which is a company that does community and master classes. I went to one of the community classes. I really liked the class but I think the focus on super foods was a bit too much for me.
It was movie time after that! I went to see Love, Rosie with Mirjam at Leicester square (oh, and we had some five guys fastfood before that oops!).
Sorry I didn't really make nice pictures the next week, except for this picture in the park! On Friday I got up really early to get tickets for the jingle bell ball, unfortunately that didn't work out. I had to walk the dog and then went shopping with Laura in Westfield!
On Saturday I met up with some new people and we basically spent a lot of time in Starbucks talking which was really nice! I went home quite early because my hostparents were celebrating bonfire night in the park with fireworks. This was really nice because the kids invited me as well which means that they really wanted me to be there so I was really happy to be there.
The new blogposts will be more frequent, I promise. I just needed some time and I feel good again now :-).
