Time to say goodbye (with loads of pictures, sorry!). With only two weeks left the last couple of weeks I have ben trying to do a couple of things that were still on my list. The school holidays for the kids started as well so I got to spend some more time with them which is always fun! One of the things on my list was Richmond Park, a really big park in London where they even have deers. I went there with Claudia to have a picknick. The weather was really nice and we had a lovely day!
The day after it was time to say goodbye to Dana. We met up at Loafing a nice café nearby where we all had some cake. We went for a walk in Victoria Park and in the evening I went to the pub with a local friend.
The next week the kids had their last week at school so the year 6 class had their play. The play was Peter Pan and it was so much fun to see. They performed it on 3 different days and some of the other classes has to sing in the play as well. Meaning that all of them had to see the play at least 4 times (one of them being the practise play) wow.
On Friday I had most of the day off so I decided to go to the city. I was drinking a coffee when Larissa suddenly walked past. We decided to spent most of the rest of the day together and went to a rooftopbar to watch Wimbledon (... ok, we were mostly chatting ssssht).
Picture overload! On Saturday I went to the Serpentine summer installation with Salla and Laura. I really wanted to see this as they have something different every year. On Sunday me and Salla went to Westfield.
I visited the British museum the next Friday and on Saturday I went to an amusement park. This was sooooo good! I went with Myrna and we went on so many rides. I had a really good day (mostly because of Myrna screaming on the rollercoasters haha!). Super fun day!
On Sunday I met up with Larissa and this was the last time I was going to see her for now as she was going home that next week. We spent the day mostly walking around the city and ended up chatting for quite a while in the evening. After we had to say goodbye.
School holidays! The kids holidays started a couple of weeks ago and so we did a couple of things around London. One of them was a Harry Potter walking tour which started at London Bridge. Before we got there we obviously needed to take a tourist picture!
The Harry Potter tour ended in Central London so we had lunch at Leicester Square and headed down to Lush Oxford Street! But first: another tourist picture. This time at M&M world.
Kew Garden was next. Kew Garden is a nice botanical garden in West London.
Last but not least: we went to the sky garden!
