Maps, museums and memorable moments

So my last blogpost ended on thursday. Friday was a really chilled day:  I made breakfast for the kids and after that I went to Carnaby street because I wanted to go to the Brandy Melville store for Veerle. When I got there I saw Mirjam so we decided to go to some stores together. Later that afternoon, on my way back I went to brick lane for some coffee. I had tea (supper/dinner) with the family and after that I decided to stay in to watch x factor.

On saturday I met up with my neighbour who is also an au pair and we went to borough market together (a big food market). 

We both had something to eat and then we went to tate modern. Tate modern always has a couple of free exhibitions so we went there. 

I am not going to tell you a lot about the museum because that might be a bit boring but I thought it was really nice. 

We ended up going to stratford (westfield) because our bus was going there (yeah right, Alana). We did some shopping and then we went home because I had to babysit in the evening. 

I had to babysit for a different family, it went really well. We watched x factor and after that they went to bed. 

On sunday I met up with Maudi to go to covent garden (after a miscommunication because I was on my way camden market first, haha). 

We walked around covent garden and went to a couple of stores like the "moomin" store.
This was my breakfast/lunch...oops!

Isn't this awesome? The stoor had so many map related things (of course I embarrassed myself by making a video for Veerle). Maudi had to go home so I met up with Denisa and Salla who were shopping on oxford street. It was Denisa's birthday so I joined them for her birthday dinner. 

After that I went home because I was very tired so... I watched x factor again! 3 days of x factor: a bit too much, haha! 

Monday: work again! Luckily I got go skype with Sofie in the evening! And on tuesday it was Dana's birthday! 

I (of course) had to work in the afternoon and my hostmom made this lovely chicken pie with the first letters of the kids name's, so cute! 

Dana's birthday was really nice. I got to meet some new people (from Spain, Germany and France!). 

It's wednesday now I'm writing this (it probably won't go up until thursday though). Today was a calm day: I did some ironing, wrote some cards and things like that. I Skyped with my mom, Veerle and Sofie and I also ordered some disposable camera's which I can pick up at boots this friday.

Talking about Friday: Sofie is arriving! I can't wait to see her!

+ my parents are visiting me this month! They just booked their hotel!
